This is the same Switronix TL-50 50w dimmable DC Powered LED Light made famous by photographer Doug Gordon.

The TorchLED TL-50 light provides the equivalent of 50 watts of 5600k, daylight balanced light and is the only compact LED light fixture which includes an integrated rechargeable battery pack to supply up to 3 hours of operating time.

This light includes the standard 3200k, 1/4 frost, and Clear snap on filter set.

We bought two of these lights a few months ago and we think they are fantastic!

We were not happy with the 3200k filter because the gels we use (and the ones that came with my Nikon flash) are closer to 2500k but I was able to purchase a sheet of gel from B&H Photo and made my own gels because the light has a 55mm screw on the front.

So all you need is a clear 55mm 'filter' and some double sided tape to attach the gel to the clear glass.

Once I created my first web site for a real business, I realized that it did not matter how good my site was if nobody ever found it.
