Photography Business Plans
If you are thinking about starting a Photography Business you will need a clear business plan or you will never get your business off of the ground even if you are the best photographer in the world. I know this is the hardest thing for you to put together if you have never run a photography business so I have put together a few business models to help get you started.
Each of these photography business models are designed to fit a completely different style of business that you will find throughout the photography industry. You can choose the one that fits your idea of how a photography business should be and if you have any suggestions for other business models please let me know so I can keep this list updated.
Also, these are not full business plans and do not include any financial or market analysis. They are ment to help you understand how your business should operate and keep you focused on the profit generators for each business model.

Photography Tips
These photography tips assume that you are using an SLR camera that has a manual setting. If you have never used your manual setting on your camera then this will be a great way for you to learn about lighting and why your automatic settings don't always give you the best results.
This is not a comprehensive list of photography tips so if you have something you would like to add, please send it to me and I will include it with a credit link back to your web site.

Photography Lighting
With the cameras available today you may not have to put much thought into how you light the subjects of your photographs but if you have ever wondered why professional photos look so good then maybe it is time for you to understand a little more about photography lighting techniques.
Although most studio photographers use a large amount of equipment to light their photos, you can often duplicate what they do with very little photo gear and/or comon items that you may have around your house. Often it is that little bit of extra effort to improve your lighting that will separate your image from what someone else might get.
